Make a Noise - Katie Herzig

 NOT COMPLETE

Look up, you see the sky on fire
Look out, the world is getting higher, now

Believe, that you can change the world
Your dreams, have been living in the cold of silence
So let them out

Find your voice
Find your voice
and make a noise

You try to find the words want to say
You might, be looking much too far away
To recognize we're all disguised

Find your voice
Find your voice
and make a noise

Oh we all were born before the war, but worlds colide
Look at all the people fightning for the same side
We all were born before the war, Worlds colide
You can't have the peace your looking for, without a fight

We all were born before the war, worlds colide
 The skys on fire
Look at all people fighting for the same side
    The worlds getting higher

We all were all born before the world
    The skys on fire
If you see you
    The worlds

The skys on fighter
The worlds getting higher

Skys on fire
The worlds getting higher
The skys on fire
The skys on fire

"The End (Isn't Coming)" by The Devil Whale

Teeth by The Devil Whale
They woke up the mountain and said here comes the flood
And the carpenter completed his cage for the pacifist dove
Your pulpits are pounded by midgets afraid of looking up

You can keep screaming at your crystal ball but it just needs a hug

The end isn't coming, its heading by while we mourn
You can come on down from your shiny horse (repeat )

I never meant him any harm - Personal Post

And my father doesn't know me
though I grew up in his arms.
And the house he built won't hold me
so fragile are the boards
And though I am darker than a storm
I never meant him any harm
No, I never meant him any harm (To Be Born)

I want to relate to my father but I feel like everything has built up that I am this storm.  But maybe this will blow over. I am prickly and scared of contact with my father. I shouldn't. He is great and he can relate but I am not allowing it.

But I'm spiny as a tree of fur
And you knew to touch me it would hurt (Untitled No. 3)

How can I learn to relate while being so different?

"To Be Born" by Sayde Price - Lyrics

I was the only one
was standing there without a gun
and I knew that it was over before I met you
knew it was over before I met you

I had to start a war
Cause my eyes were raw and my fingers sore
From clutching dirt and gaping at the prairie
From clutching dirt and staring at the prairie

And my father doesn't know me
though I grew up in his arms.
And the house he built won't hold me
so fragile are the boards
And though I am darker than a storm
I never meant him any harm
No, I never meant him any harm

Cause I don't live in your bloody hands
and if you slipped into the shaky cage of my ribs you'd understand
That the hole in my throat is just so dusty desert crack
And in that cavern if you will sleep oh I won't think you...
And no I won't think you would ....

Could I love my daughter
as though she was bread and water?
Though she be my own flesh blood skin and bone
Know keep her until I was forced leave her
Until then in my own sweet time I am dead and gone
Until then in my own sweet time I am dead and gone

Cause I don't live in your bloody hands
and if you slipped into the shaky cage of my ribs you'd understand
That the hole in my throat is just so dusty desert crack
And in that cavern if you will sleep oh I won't think you...
And no I won't think you would ....

"Jester" by Sayde Price - Lyrics

I haven't seen my mother in ages
and my lover he does not exist
and my brother he waits and he listens
and my sisters I love them to death
it's the way that I feel in the morning
before anyone gets up
like the way you feel when it's snowing
oh god I think we're out of luck

It snaps our life from between our shoulder
I get older You get colder
I am your solider but I smolder
when you put me in the fire
I'm made of tin and we're melting into liquid
before we reach the bottom we'll be solid
oh so solid

and hot metal is never too appealing
When you touch it will limp on your skin
And know how it throbs and lingers
to remind you of something you missed
it's Red and golden so swollen
And the stains on your fingers persist
And know how it throbs and lingers
to remind you of something you've missed

That You wouldn't trade all the souls in the world
for the silver I became and his beautiful girl
That You wouldn't trade all the souls in the world
for the silver I became and his beautiful girl

And they will make me sick
Just a taught them all his tricks
Just to show them how to fix
they're heavy little heart
And then they fill/feel so hard

It snaps our life from
between our shoulder I get older You get colder
I am your solider but I smolder when you put me in the fire
I'm made of tin and we're melting into liquid
before we reach the bottom we'll be solid
oh so solid

That you wouldn't trade all the souls in the world
for the silver I became and his beautiful girl
That You wouldn't trade all the souls in the world
for the silver I became and his beautiful girl

"Darling" by Sayde Price - Lyrics

The sting in your eyes
Is just ash, is just ash
and I'll tell you that

And the way this day goes
is just rusty backlash, rusty backlash

And my pretty little darling
in the morning
I would love you anymore

And my pretty little darling
keeps me hoping for the cause

You've heard all of this before
You've heard all of this before
So how could it hurt
Once more, once more

And would I wear/were? the dust on your knees
I could just flee when the wind blows
And would I wear/were? the skin on your teeth
Used to send meek for a while
Used to send meek for a while

And oh what oh
Was just slow
And oh what oh
Was just slow
And oh what oh
In the rope
Pray for your poor soul
And we'll pray for our poor souls

"You Were Good" by The Devil Whale - Lyrics

All you are is a shoe-in start
In a sky that no one's watching any
You are the half way line
That kept me up at night
Till I learn to roll over and ignore

You Were Good,
You Were Good,
You Were Good,
But am I good enough?

I want to be the air you breath
I want to cover up your walls of your lung with me
I want to paint my pretty heart across your ????
So everyone who sees you thinks of me

I was Good
I was Good,
I was Good,
but am I good enough?

[Instrumental]

You Were Good,
You Were Good,
You Were Good,
But am I good enough?
